Our Process
First we’ll take diagnostic impressions and X-rays to plan your treatment and produce the rendering of your finished smile. These are used to build a series of custom aligners that mark progress through the treatment plan. Patients wear the aligners for 20-22 hours a day, removed only when you eat, brush and floss.
How Long Does Invisalign Take?
The more you wear your aligners, the faster your teeth will gradually move into their ideal position. Each patient is different and the length of treatment will vary depending on your unique case. At your initial consultation for Invisalign your dentist may be able to offer a tentative prediction of how long it will take to straighten your teeth.
Considering Invisalign
Throughout your treatment with Invisalign you will see your dentist for periodic checkups. You may achieve your new vibrant smile in as little as a few months, to just over a year. As a health benefit, our Invisalign clear aligners are made from BPA-free plastic.
Retainers
Did Fido eat your retainer? Again? Remember, if your retainer was recently lost, broken or eaten by the family pet it’s better to replace it sooner than later. Your teeth will move faster than you think! At Associated Dentists we’re happy to make or replace a retainer anytime you need. Come in and we can discuss the type of retainer that would be best for you.
