- Olbrich Botanical Gardens – For just $2 or free (at some times) tour the conservatory or check out events.
- Dane County Farmers’ Market – Offering four different markets including a Saturday morning market on the Capitol Square.
- University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum – Take a walk through different types of environments and ecological communities.
- Monona Terrace – Convention center downtown inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright.
- Concerts on the Square – Live performances Wednesday nights all summer long on the Capitol Lawn.
- Madison Museum of Contemporary Art – View exhibits or dine in the open air on their rooftop garden. In Downtown Madison.
- Bratfest – Outdoor concerts on Memorial Day Weekend and all the bratwurst you care to eat!
- Yum Yum Fest – Enjoy festival dishes and drinks from area chefs and restaurants.
- Taste of Madison – Food from area restaurants and music takes over the Capitol Square on Labor Day Weekend.
- Madison Mallards – Northwoods League baseball – fun for the whole family at Warner Park in Madison.
- University of Wisconsin Geology Museum – Kids will enjoy the free, self-guided tour on the UW-Madison campus.
- Wisconsin Historical Museum – Learn about the history of Wisconsin and travel back in time to when Wisconsin was founded.
- Brittingham Boats – Rent a canoe or kayak and paddle around Lake Monona.
- Epic Software Tour – Take a tour of the largest software company in the Madison area.
- Betty Lou Cruises – Enjoy a day or evening on the Madison lakes.
- Pope Farm Conservancy – This is a “must do” item when the sunflowers are in bloom. Located in Verona.
- The Sylvee – Check out what concerts and shows are coming to this Madison venue.
