Porcelain Veneers Madison & Verona
What Are Veneers?
Our custom porcelain veneers are color-matched to your teeth to produce an exceptional esthetic appearance and support the integrity of your teeth. Each veneer is a thin shell of strong porcelain individually crafted to fit just over the front surface of teeth.
Porcelain veneers may be ideal for you if you need to:
- Erase years of coffee or smoking stains from the teeth
- Whiten areas of yellowing or dullness from wear and age
- Close unwanted gaps or small spaces between teeth
- Improve the shape and shade of the teeth
- Cover damaged outer surfaces of the teeth
Benefits of Veneers
Our porcelain veneers are virtually indistinguishable from that of natural, healthy teeth. Because they are naturally resistant to stains from coffee, tea or smoke, many patients prefer them to professional teeth whitening for their more permanent effect.
The Veneer Process
Veneers take little preparation to place and only require the removal of a very thin layer of enamel. Because the process is minimally invasive, patients typically do not require the use of anesthetic to prepare the teeth. An impression is made of the teeth and temporary veneers are placed. Once made, your permanent set of veneers can be cemented into place at a later appointment to complete your radiant smile.
Remember to brush and floss as you would in a good dental hygiene routine, and uphold regular checkups with the dentist. Always refrain from using your teeth as “tools” to open containers or bite into hard or manmade objects. With good care, your veneers may last many years. If you have questions about veneers or cosmetic dentistry in Madison or Verona, give us a call and we’d be glad to schedule a consultation.
Changing your smile isn’t quite the same as changing your hair color. While a new smile may feel as dramatic as going from blonde to black, your smile should have results that look stunning but always feel naturally radiant. Your friends and family may be saying “Wow, you look different–but I can’t place my finger on it!” Don’t worry–it’s your secret, and it’s a great reason to smile.
