Frequently Asked Questions

If you’ve ever been rushed out of your doctor’s office, you probably didn’t feel good about your experience or the quality of care. As your family dentist in Madison and Verona we are very considerate of providing you with service that respects your health and your time.

Our one hour dental hygiene appointments allow us the time to educate our patients and provide thorough, quality service– that just doesn’t happen in a 30-minute checkup! We’re not a rush-in, rush-out practice and we’re devoted to timely service that respects your personal decisions.

Approximately half of adults in America today suffer from gum disease (also known as periodontal disease), a chronic condition in the mouth where the gums bleed after brushing, the gums recede, and often itch or feel sensitive to the touch. If left untreated, this nagging condition can lead to periodontitis, an advanced stage of periodontal disease that may result in the loss of one or more teeth.

Although gum disease is common it is also easy to treat in its earliest stages. By visiting your dentist at least twice a year and brushing and flossing regularly at home, you can help keep gum disease away and protect the healthy condition of your smile.

Modern Dentistry has made leaps and bounds in recent years to improve pain management as well as the effectiveness of a wide range of dental treatments. Dental solutions such as crowns, bridges and dentures may last longer than ever before. Patients who are wary of seeing the dentist can now choose safe and reliable anxiety-reducing medication to encourage a calm experience, no matter what dental treatment they need.

When a patient says “Wow, that was easier than I thought it would be,” we know we’ve done our part to encourage positivity and trust at the dentist. Part of what makes our team at Associated Dentists stand strong as a trusted family dentist for over 50 years involves our attention to detail, our gentle touch, and the reassuring and supportive demeanor of our team. Your health and comfort are always our top priority.

In a place where you need service for your health and wellness, transparency is key. At Associated Dentists, we believe in hassle-free, no-nonsense dentistry. That’s why we’ll work with you to treat dental issues at the source, not the symptom. When we’re able to solve dental problems before they become complex or difficult to treat, we not only encourage better long-term oral health for yourself, but it can be a lot less stress on yourself, your family, and your wallet.

At Associated Dentists, our patients are told what to expect of their treatment and the related costs, before any treatment begins. We want to be as transparent with you as we can, because our ultimate goal is your optimal health, not sending invoices to your insurance company. If you don’t have dental insurance or want to find a unique way to finance your treatment to your convenience, let us know and we’ll help set you up with the best tools to get you what you need in the best way for you.
